I liked that it was close to where we needed to be for a friends wedding. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little to flat for me. And i felt like we needed more towels in the room. The room was a little outdated, i think it could use some new modern look. The door didn’t feel safe & secure, it looked as if it had been forced in before. Also noticed there was a lot of dust behind the nightstand and on the bed frame against the wall. But i still got a good nights sleep & the curtains did really help clocking out the light. We got to use the pool and the jacuzzi on site and they were both great! And i did also like that there was towels to use there in the pool area instead of the ones from our room. The free continental breakfast was a nice add on. But the coffee tasted awful unfortunately. Overall a decent stay for anyone looking for something not too expensive,

Budget friendly option for your Santa Barbara stay. Clean rooms. Beds were a bit hard for my liking but still slept great. Rooms were a bit dated but most importantly clean. Shower had good temperature and pressure. Very sparse continental breakfast. Based on other budget friendly options in the area, the Sandpiper fit the bill for our purposes and looked better maintained than others in the area. Denny’s across the street came in handy for breakfast. 10 minute drive to Stearns Wharf, the beach and downtown. Great location to visit all the sites (Courthouse, SB Mission, Orchid Estate etc) - centrally located on State Street. 15 minutes from the airport. Good value based on other rates in the area.

Exceptionally clean room, great shower with a window through which one views blue skies and lush treetops. Able to park close to my room. Mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, good desk and small table/chairs, big TV with premium channels. Firm but comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Great staff, friendly and professional. Very quiet at night, slept well.

The truth is when we arrived I was a little scared because I imagined it was dangerous but to my surprise It didn't , I really love my stay at this hotel everything was very good we rested for a few days everything was very good what I loved the most were the pillows haha

Alejandra

We were surprised to get such a big room, suite style with two beds, bigger than what we booked. We enjoyed the spa. Also, great to just go get breakfast, even though it was not the healthiest options. Very close to Whole Foods where we got our dinner.
